Stopped in for lunch after walking to the lake in Milwaukee. The food and service were excellent and the manager was from Alabama (I was wearing a shirt of a football rival of Auburn where he went to school Go Hogs!!!l) He was very friendly and made sure our food and service were the best. If we ever visit again, we will be sure to stop in for lunch or dinner.
Met an old college friend here last week to catch up. I was extremely satisfied with the food and beverage selection. Even more impressive was the personal service and attention from employees, most notably food and beverage manager Nicholas. I have to say he was by far the most personable and friendly restaurant employee I have ever encountered. Next time I am in Milwaukee a stop at Millioke is guaranteed, and I hope to see Nicholas and the rest of the staff's smiling faces once again.
We had breakfast here while staying at the attached Marriott. The corn flake french toast is out of this world.
The service was fantastic as well!
"Hip, but warm and inviting"
Loved everything about this restaurant! The decor is outstanding. The service was excellent. The food all comes from a 250 mile radius or a large portion of it and it really does make a difference!
Best burger I have ever eaten, and we travel extensively! Mashed potatoes were a religious experience and i am still craving the bread and butter pickles! The cheese fondue with pretzel bread was good too. Too stuffed to try dessert but love how they offer "small bites". Pricing was reasonable for the quality and certainly a nice surprise in a hotel restaurant!
Breakfast was exceptional here--Blueberry Pancakes with greek yogurt, carmelized pear and apples and local maple syrup are good enough to travel 1,000 miles back for!
"Grilled Chicken Wing Appetizer- AMAZING!!!! "

"A great new place for Wisconsin Ave."
This place is simply beautiful inside. The design, the huge windows, the comfort of the tables. I loved everything about it.
Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, not much was happening in there. We were able to pick any seat we liked, of course we headed right for the window. The tables are nice and big and the chairs are so comfy! Sounds like a weird thing to review, but seriously, some places have you seating in grade school desk chairs.
We got the beer fondue to start, it was tasty. I'm not sure I loved the pretzel bun you get to dip, but I don't know what else would be better in it's place.
We ordered the salmon sandwich, the skirt steak sandwich and the turkey burger. All were super flavorful and quite hearty servings. Everyone also got sides, the baked potato with the fixings (delish!), the parm fries (ridiculous!) and the mac & cheese. The first 2 were big hits, but the mac & cheese was really bland. We actually dumped the fondue in to make it more moist and flavorful.
I will for sure be back here, it's such a great new place for Wisconsin Ave.!
"Great Atmosphere and Awesome Cheese"
The appetizers are wonderful and somewhat unique. The look of the restaurant is a great place to relax with friends. Definitely check this new restaurant out.
"Excellent cheese. Great local beer selection."
The cheese is great, the beer selection is awesome. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu although they've only been open a couple weeks. The atmosphere is great too. A must try!
"Great atmosphere with food to match!"
Myself and two business partners had lunch at the brand new Millioke restaurant at the new Marriott downtown. The hotel did a great job with this restaurant. There are a number of unique choices and at reasonable prices. I had the Pappardelle with peas and Neuskes bacon and it was awesome!
I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again in the near future.
I met a colleague for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The server was quite attentive and offered us both OJ and coffee in a to-go cup. I had some work things to take care of so after my colleague left the wait staff cleared out a private room for me to make phone calls and do work. They were more than happy to do that, and in fact, it was their idea. I can't wait to go back!
